HiPotential Power Services serves the states of Kansas and Missouri, and provides multiple services for Municipalities, Utilities, Rural Electric Cooperatives, and Health Care Facilities. Our focus is on Diesel, Steam, and Gas Turbine Generations, Transmission and Distribution Systems, and Utility Interconnections.
HiPotential Power Services owns state-of-the-art test instruments, available 24 hours 7 days a week to test all Substation and Power Plant equipment. Some of the services we provide include:

Owner
Owner, John (JR) Hampton, has 10 years experience as an electrician and a bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. As an electrician JR spent years in industrial corporations working with controls, hazardous (classified) areas, and performing duties as a foreman. He also ran a service truck problem-solving commercial and residential electrical needs. While working on his bachelor's degree, he interned with Black & Veatch, A2V Partners, and ESC Consulting Engineers. After earning his Engineering degree, he worked with Criswell Engineering while shadowing and learning from owner Roy Criswell at municipalities including Coffeyville, utilities including Asbury Power Plant, and health-care facilities including Mercy Hospital. JR opened his own business in January of 2018 with Roy assisting as needed while working towards his own retirement.

Designing the layout for new transformers and box bay substations
Designing the panel layout and associated wiring for transformer change-out and breaker addition at substations
Modifying existing one-line drawings for changes and additions to equipment
